Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and joyful memories that we announce the passing of Miguel A. Orozco, who departed this life on July 28, 2025, at the age of 73. Surrounded by love and laughter, Miguel passed away peacefully in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona — the same city where his remarkable journey began.

Born on October 27, 1951, in Tucson, Miguel was a radiant soul from the very beginning. With an infectious laugh and a mischievous twinkle in his eye, he brought joy, warmth, and light to everyone he met. His kind heart, generous spirit, and boundless curiosity enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Miguel will be fondly remembered for his incredible sense of humor and his ability to find joy in the everyday. Whether it was a perfectly timed joke, a funny story, or simply the sound of his unmistakable laughter filling a room, Miguel had an extraordinary gift for making people smile. He never met a stranger — only friends he hadn't yet made — and his warmth and generosity were truly unmatched.

He leaves behind a legacy built on love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. Miguel is survived by his seven loving children: Mario, Miguel (Cynthia), José (Rocio), Michael, Francisco (Erica), Crystal (Roman), and Angel. He was a proud grandfather to thirteen cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Manuel, and sister-in-law, Alejandrina Orozco.

Miguel was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Anna Patricia, his parents, Alonzo and Armida Orozco, and his two dear sisters, Eduviges and Estella.

Though he may no longer walk among us, Miguel's vibrant spirit will live on in the stories shared, the memories cherished, and the echo of his laughter in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
