Miguel Angel Chavez "Mike" peacefully left this earth on Tuesday November 30 th , 2021
He was surrounded by his brother and sisters when he beautifully gained his "Angel" wings.
Mike was a native Tucsonan, born on October 22 nd , 1965. He attended Sunnyside High School and was a star athlete. Mike was one of the best Cross Country runners Tucson ever had. He broke national records that still haven't been broken, he ran lightning fast! He was proud to call himself a Blue Devil.
Mike attended the University of Arizona and always loved watching the Wildcats play.
Mike had a long successful career in Real Estate and Property Management, he enjoyed working with people and building relationships in the communities he worked with.
Mike was a person with many talents and hobbies, he was a successful seller on his eBay store, a writer, a poet, an artist and a collector of fine antiques. Mike enjoyed window shopping, going to antique stores, swap meets, street fairs and collecting art.
Mike loved food! He enjoyed cooking at home and dining out with his compadres, he loved traditional Mexican dishes and every now and then, he loved a good shrimp cocktail. Mike especially enjoyed having Chinese takeout with his big brother Manny.
Mike loved watching game shows, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune every day on time!
Mike loved gathering with friends and family. He always enjoyed a good laugh, he was always the jokester, poking fun at others and making light of situations that always made you laugh, no matter how hard you tried not to.
Mike had a love for music, all of it! He collected it and truly had a passion for it. He loved all genres of music but really lit up when he heard some funk, or soul music playing, he was Prince's #1 fan! He loved pulling up an old seventies or eighties tune and reminiscing about the good times. Mike loved to dance and back in the day could break dance, pop and lock and do the best moonwalk! Mike loved to sing, he would make you listen while he sang to you and giggled. He had a way of making you laugh and smile right along with him.
Mike always had a great sense of style, always looking the sharpest at family gatherings with a nice jacket and some fancy shoes, he was handsome and charming.
Mike loved his family, he genuinely enjoyed gathering. He liked watching boxing, and UFC on pay per view. He loved getting together to celebrate birthday parties and holidays. Mike always showed up with a dish or snacks, never arriving empty handed. He loved to give!
Mike was in all senses a true gentleman, he touched so many lives! He was kind and loving, sensitive and wise, he will truly be missed by so many.
Mike's love for God and his faith in knowing he would reunite with our loved ones who went ahead of him, gave him strength. He fought with determination and never let his faith be swayed, he was a true warrior!
Mike left this earth with a huge love for his family, pride for all his nieces, and nephews, Godchildren and new babies that came into this world while he was preparing to leave.
He once said, "I didn't get to choose when I came into this world, why would I get to choose when I leave" He was a man of great faith. He truly believed that God gave him this journey on earth to prepare him for his place in heaven. Mike lived each day grateful for another day. He remained solid in his faith and his spirit never broke.
We love you brother! We're so proud of the fight you gave! All the good times, your smile and laughter will live forever in our hearts! We will miss you so, so much and each day without you will not be the same. Our hearts are forever broken!
May you rest in Eternal Peace with Mom, Dad and our beautiful sister Lupita. Give Pinguino a hug for us, we know he was waiting for you!

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Margarita Chavez, and his sister Lupita Chavez
Mike is survived by his brother Manny (Nancy) Chavez, Sisters, Teresa Chavez, Mary Chavez, Raquel (Joseph)McCarthy, Nieces, Nephews and Godchildren.
