Meridith Ann Little, born September 13, 1945, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024. A passionate world traveler and accomplished hiker, Meridith proudly became a member of the Mount Everest 14,000-Foot Club and hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim at the age of 70. She was an inspiring Weight Watchers leader, animal lover, political activist, and talented artist, exploring various mediums. A former Marine and Master Hairdresser, she brought laughter as a stand-up comic and remained actively engaged in her community. Meridith was a published author of "Taming Tofu," sharing her love of cooking with others.
She is survived by her beloved pets, including her two cats, Sarah and Santana; her dog, Pita; and two parakeets, Queenie and Carlos. Meridith leaves behind her cherished siblings, Amy, Clark and Dina, along with her nieces and nephews: Laney, Nicole, Dustin, David, Arren, and Castina, Reese and their children. She now rests with her sister, Candice, Mother Nancy and Father Louis, in eternal peace. Meridith's adventurous spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held for her Tucson Friends & Family Saturday November 23rd, 2024 at Unity of Tucson from 1pm-3pm, 3617 N. Camino Blanco, Tucson, AZ 85718.
