Mom was born in Blythe, CA. Tata was always moving them around looking for work. She and her siblings lived a hard life, but were together as much as possible. Her mother passed when she was about 9 years old. Mom often shared how hard life was for them. She regretted not being there for her mom when she was ill and died without her children at her side. She met Dad at a neighborhood softball game. Her memory of that day was "I picked up the softball, looked up and THERE HE WAS." The rest is history they were married 63 years.

Mom enjoyed visiting her sisters and brothers. Going shopping, her plants, sewing and fixing her arroz con leche. But most of all she looked forward to visits from her children and grandchildren. Nana loved her shot of tequila! Her last tequila shots were on her 95th birthday in March. She celebrated with Ralph, Mary, Lorenzo and Joann. She ate cake, ice cream, apple pie, banana bread and of course had Tequila. She had more than one shot that day. Her trip to meet Dad, Jimmie and Emilio was peaceful and beautiful. She left listening to Tio Ray singing Amazing Grace.

REST NOW SWEET MOTHER AND NANA❤
