Mary Rascon, 94, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on January 15, 2023. Mary was born on February 16,1928 to Jose Maria Canez and Augustina Madril Canez in Tucson AZ, After attending Amphi high school, she went on to work for a few companies then became an entrepreneur working for herself providing Cleaning Services. In 1957 they met, she met Edward Rason, and they wed in 1958, going on to have 1 child, [Eddie Rascon Jr.] When Mary had first child, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Mary excelled at propping up Eddie Rascon and members of her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting many through difficulty and through passion, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Mary was a passionate gardner and of personal hobby of cactus gardening and when she wasn't filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her home in Tucson AZ practicing gardening and building cactus gardens, and cooking. We will miss her greatly. Mary was predeceased by Jose Maria Canez, Augustine Madril Canez, Edward Rascon,Jose Canez, Santiago Canez Joe Cuestas. She is survived by her son Eddie Rascon; granddaughters Melissa, Genevieve & Stephanie Rascon; grandson Edward Rascon Jr.; great grandsons Joaquin, Marquez & Isaac Burruel; great granddaughters Tsimari Ortega & Sophia Burruel. She is also survived by her sister Cleo Cuestas Canez Soto; Granddaughters: Julie Soto, Lydia Orchard (granddaughter god-child),Mary Soto-Roether and Don Roether, Rebecca Soto-Young and Ron, Selma Soto; (Grandsons) Joey Soto and Christina Soto, David Soto and Shannon Soto, Ronnie Soto (Great grand grandsons)Ronnie Orchard and Emily Soto, Joey Jr. Soto, Vinnie Soto, (Great granddaughters) Eileen Soto and Victor Soto (Great great granddaughters) Bella Soto, Mariah Soto, Maria Soto- Blanton Radtke and James Radtke; great great granddaughters Tina Roether-Saiter, (Great Great granddaughters), Hailey Soto-Saiter,McKinsey Soto-Saiter,Ashley Soto-Saiter; Great great great grandsons Brandon Soto-Saiter, Jose Santiago Canez, Jose Santana Canez,; Grandsons, Danny Canez,Mario Canez; Great granddaughters Cindy Canez,Nadine Canez, Great great granddaughters Nichole Canez.
