Mary Ann Soto (De La Ossa), 72, of Tucson, entered the arms of Jesus on January 23, 2024, reuniting with her father, Tony, and brothers, Tony and Marco.

Mary Ann was born on August 22, 1951 to Tony and Bertha De La Ossa of Arizona. She graduated from Tucson High School in 1969. In 1980, she married her "Corazon," Pedro Soto Barraza. Together, they raised three sons, Raymond, Tommy, and Victor Ballesteros.

Mary Ann was a passionate hairdresser whose vibrant personality touched the lives of all her friends and clients. She enjoyed making home-cooked meals for all who gathered at her home. She showed her passion for fashion through making jewelry and sewing, as well as her love of shoes. She also loved the outdoors and traveling to see her children and grandchildren who lived out of town. Her pride and joy was the success of her children and grandchildren. She was happiest when surrounded by family who meant the world to her.

She is survived by her husband, Pedro; sons, Raymond (Veronica), Tommy (Marti) and son, Victor (Stacey); mother, Bertha; 9 grandchildren: Raymond, Ashley, Patrick, Alexis, Victor, Leighann, Annysa, Aaron, Hannah, and 14 great-grandchildren: Raymond, Alexis, Waylon, Patrick, Isabella, Mary, Alexandria, Olivia, Katie, Tyree, Cooper, Addison, Gabriella, and Raeann, and other extended family.

Friends and family will gather on February 1, 2023, at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (South Chapel). Visitation will be from 8-10 a.m. followed by a Rosary from 10-10:30 a.m. Mass celebrating Mary Ann's life will take place directly after at St. Margaret's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Burial immediately following at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Hope Cemetery.
