Mary Helen Morales August 31, 1948 – July 9, 2025
Mary Helen Morales passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on August 31, 1948, in Tucson, Arizona, Mary was the cherished daughter of Ubaldo and Lilly Leon, who preceded her in death.
Before dedicating herself to her family, Mary worked in a variety of roles, including the historic Pioneer Hotel, Jim Click Ford, the Pima County Sheriff's Office, and in the accounting department at Duval Mines. She was proud of her work and especially fond of the memories she made during that time, including the unforgettable opportunity to meet John Wayne, Natalie Wood, and Robert Wagner at the Pioneer Hotel.
Mary had a generous heart and gave freely to many causes throughout her life, including aid to Israel, local charities, and countless others that touched her spirit.
She is survived by Arnold Morales, her beloved children: Adrian (Becky) Morales, Melissa Morales, Veronica Morales , and Gabriel Morales; grandchildren: Emerick(Alexis), Lynnea, David, Dominick(Natalie), Devano, Isabella, Micaela, Destiny, J.J., Alyanna, and Kaylani and two great-grandchildren Kataleya and Zakai. Also survived by siblings Olga (Robert) Madero, Patricia(Jose) Martinez. Diane Arnold, Ubaldo (Erin) Leon, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her family was her pride and joy, and her love and guidance will live on through them.
Mary will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends. Her warmth, strength, and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her Christian faith played an integral role in her life, and she held firm to her beliefs. Her dedication was evident through her consistent attendance at Calvary Chapel in Tucson. To all the team at Emblem Hospice our grateful appreciation.
