Was born on March 15, 1932 in Tucson, Arizona to Feliciano and Aurelia Fimbres. Her parents and six brothers, Ernest, Gilbert, Manuel, Carlos, Rudy, and Federico preceded her in death, younger sister, Gloria Quihuis survives her. Also survived by her husband of 73 years, Juan Manuel Gallardo; daughters, Edna Hernandez (Carlos), Diane Cannella (Jim), Arlene Williams (Harold), and son, Ken Gallardo (Diane). Surviving Mary are her grandchildren, Jesse Aaron, Figueroa, Adrienne Rudie, Michael Cannella, Kami Varela, Amanda Daniels, Jordan Gallardo, Hunter Gallardo. In addition, she is survived by great-grandchildren, Quinten Jones, Isayah Jones, Celize Willis, Alexis Alvarez, Alyssa Figueroa, Alijah Figueroa, Ella Rudie and great-great-grandsons, Xzavier Jones, and Sage Holden.

Mary was a loving wife, mom, nana, and great sister. The love she had for her family was beyond measure. She always went above and beyond for them doing whatever she could to help them in whatever they needed. The love she had for her husband, Juan Manuel, began when they were in junior high and withstood the test of time and tribulations. Together they demonstrated that true love could conquer every obstacle. Their love was and IS everlasting.

As a mom, Mary wore many hats while raising her children. She was a confidant, advisor, teacher, dance instructor, an avid reader and always an empathetic listener. She was always there to lend a hand, to comfort and support her kids in every way. There was nothing she wouldn't do for them. Mary loved her children with all her heart, and they loved her right back.

Mary was a "hands on" nana! She played an important role in the lives of all her grandchildren when they were growing up. When asked to step in and care for one of the grandkids she never hesitated to say, "of course!" She was proud of all their accomplishments as the grandkids grew up. She absolutely loved being a nana and they LOVED having her as their nana.

The Hollinger and Van Buskirk students she cared for as a Tucson Unified School District Health Clerk for over 15 years loved Mary and greatly appreciated the care and love she gave them.

Mary was loved by all of her family and friends and will forever be in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace…

The family would like to thank Mary's friends, nephews, and nieces for their continued love and support of our mother.
