It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Maria Dolores Peinado, at the age of 79.  She died on July 11, 2025.

Maria, better known as 'Lola' or 'Lolita' by her loved ones and friends, was born in Nogales, Sonora on February 26, 1946.  She was a woman with a big heart who dedicated her life to her husband and children.  Years later, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest pride.  She showed her love for them through her meals and pampering them at every moment.

She is survived by the great love of her life, Refugio, her "sparrow" that she affectionately called him in her last moments; her children, Ricardo, Rosa, Sonia (Octavio), Bertha (Alexander), José (Angelica), and her very dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will always be remembered for being that great warrior at all times. And for her great love and dedication to her family without respite.
