79, of Tucson, AZ, passed peacefully surrounded by family on June 12, 2024. She was not just an adored Sister, Tia, Cousin, and Friend, but a guiding light in our lives. Her kindness, warmth, and love touched the lives of all those around her. We were blessed to have witnessed a life guided by a heart of genuine purity and blessedness. Maria gave us a divine example of who God intended us to be.

Maria is survived by her sisters, Margaret M. Majuta (Rene) and Mary Helen Aguirre; Tia, Marty Clark, and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Frank "Chico" V. and Maria Louisa U. Mendibles; Sister, Francis Mendibles, and Brothers, Jesus and Ventura "Benny" Mendibles.

We want to express our deep gratitude to Marty Barba Ruiz, Margarita Cruz, Maria Elena Garcia, Angelina Garcia Ruiz, Graciela Noriega, and Hazel McClean for the unwavering love and support they gave Maria and our family. We are also immensely thankful to the Casa Luz Hospice, and the Dependable Agency for the exceptional care they provided to our precious Sister.
