In Loving Memory of Our Beautiful Mom, Maria de los Angeles Moran Bustamante

With profound sadness and hearts full of love, we share the passing of our beautiful mother who passed away at the age of 93, on September 1, 2026. She was surrounded by family who loved her so deeply.

Our mommy was the heart of our family. She was a devoted wife to our dad, Humberto, for 36 years until his passing, and a loving mother to Humberto Jr. (Kimberly), Brenda Trujillo (Guillermo), Clarissa, Jeanette and Humberto III (Flor). She was also a devoted Nana to 13 grandkids and 10 great-grandkids and a friend to many.

If you knew our mom, you knew she had a wonderful sense of humor, especially her unforgettable sarcastic wit. She had a way of saying exactly what she was thinking often with perfect timing, a straight face, and just enough sass to make you hurl with laughter. She also loved to dance and passed on her shoe fetish to her daughters.

She was also a proud Guadalupana, and her devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe was an important part of her life and her legacy. She lovingly instilled that faith in her children and grandchildren through her prayers, traditions, and example.

She gave us so much: her love, her strength, her faith, her humor, her traditions, and countless memories that we will carry with us forever.

We find comfort in believing that our mommy is now reunited with our dad and we know that her love, her faith, and yes even her sarcasm, will continue to live on through all of us.

We love you, “Mami” Always and forever. Rest in peace.
