Maria Ramona Cota, 84, our beautiful mama went home to be with Jesus on Friday, June 12, 2026. Our Mom was the most loving, caring and selfless women you ever met. Maria was blessed with a large family and she loved us all. Maria’s sincere passion was serving her family and friends, never asking for anything in return. We know she is in Heaven, and until we see her again…. we will miss her presence, her smile and her love.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Neftali Ernesto Cota; her father, Trinidad L. Trujillo; her Mother, Soledad A. Trujillo; her brothers, Guadalupe A. Trujillo; Francisco A. Trujillo; Trinidad Trujillo Jr.; great grand daughter, Kimberly Ernestina Cruz Montes.

Maria is survived by her eight children, Sharon Trivitt (James); Diana Chavez (Tony); Sandra Mendez; Leticia Basurto (Gustavo); Sonya Cota; Crystal Mada (Neto); Veronica Cota (David Pelayo); Neftali Ernesto Cota Jr.

Also survived by her 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; brothers, Rudy Alvarado (Mary); Christino A. Trujillo (Denise); Thomas A. Trujillo; sister, Carmen Hager (Jim); and many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
