IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Maria Lopez
Acedo
May 17, 1976 – April 2, 2023
Maria Lopez Acedo, 46, affectionately known by her family and friends as Mimo, was suddenly called home to the Lord on April 2, 2023.
On earth she leaves behind her most precious treasure, her daughter María Isabel Vasquez, ex-husband Francisco Gerardo Vasquez, parents Armando and Edilia Acedo, sisters Juanita (Jesus) Mariles, JoAnn (Louie) Acosta, nieces Rocio (Conrado) Acedo, Vanessa (Salvador) Mariles, Andrea Mariles, Marianna Mariles, Annalyse (Carlos) Acedo, Tristina (Alfie) Perez; and nephews Jose Mariles, Jesus (Celina) Mariles, Juan Pablo (Anahí) Mariles, and Brandon (Echo) Acosta; great nieces and nephews Maria Belem, Conrado Emiliano, Mateo Nicolas, Ayleen Lucero, Andrea Berenis, Lucas Alberto, Luna Lanae, Leilani Rose, Zenayda Amara, Aryadnee Zephyra, Maxamillian, Myles, Armando Jr, Hailey Jade, Weston James, Kayden Juniper, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren and friends. Preceded by death by her grandparents Armando and Rosario Acedo, Jose and Concha Lopez, brother-in-law José Jesús Mariles, nephew-in-law Salvador Valenzuela, and cousin Melissa Santamaria.
She is remembered in our hearts and when we feel the warmth of the sun on our cheeks, the wind touches our skin, and the rain falls with such grace. Maria was kind, loving, and passionate with a radiant smile that can brighten a gloomy day. She dedicated her life to helping others and baking desserts for her family and friends. She had a distinctive laugh that you could be heard across the room as she celebrated life. The memories we cherish shall give us strength until we reunite in paradise. Maria was an angel on earth with a heart of gold and now is the most beautiful angel in Heaven. God picks the most beautiful flowers for his garden, and we know he chose the rarest one of all.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4)
