Margaret Ortiz (Guera) passed away on December 13th, at her home in the company of her sons, and family.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Patino; her husband, Tino Ortiz; son, Gilbert Ortiz; grandchildren, Ernesto and Michael Ortiz; brothers, Manny Gonzales and John Lopez. She is survived by her sons, Alex Ortiz, Ernesto Ortiz (Carmen Garcia), and Jesus Ortiz; grandchildren, Irene Garcia, Ernest Ortiz, Andrea Ortiz, Adam Ortiz, Briana and Melissa Ortiz, Stephanie Arellano, Juan Moreno, Alex and Rene Ortiz, Brittany Moreno, Angelica and Clarissa Arellano and many great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters, Rosemary Alcantar, Lupe Rosthenhausler; brothers, Frank Alcantar, and Jerry Kaphan.

Guera loved her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she was very proud of. She also dedicated many years to Sunnyside School District serving the children meals. She will be missed dearly and will live on in everyone's heart.
