IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Manuel C
Amado
June 29, 1939 – July 14, 2022
Manny "King" Amado, 83, passed away peacefully in his home on July 14th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born June, 29th, 1939.
He was the son of predeceased, Manuel Amado and Eufrasia Chaffino, and his brother, Tony Amado. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 34 years, Reyna Amado; his sons, Manny Amado and Martin Amado; his daughters, Dubby Amado, Debbie Lopez and Karla Velarde; and all of his grandkids and great grandkids.
Manny was loved by so many people and gave his love and friendship generously. He enjoyed a good laugh and was always cracking jokes. Manny enjoyed a lot of things in life like dancing, traveling and drinking, but he mostly loved baseball and his family. He was a hardcore Yankees fan and he was able to fulfill many of his dreams of visiting Yankee Stadium and attending major league games. He was part of many baseball leagues around Tucson all throughout his best years. During his childhood he was part of Tucson's First Little League, where he was named the most valuable player of their first season. Manny served in the Army National Guard for over 10 yrs, was always top tier, and an overachiever in anything he did. But most of all, he was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many.
Manny's life was full of joy and good moments that will leave memories for his family and anyone who met him. He will be dearly missed and remembered.
