IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Manny K.
Hernandez
November 25, 1980 – March 24, 2024
Manny King Hernandez, 43, of Tucson, Arizona, peacefully passed away, Sunday, March 24, 2024, in his home.
Manny is survived by his father Salamon, his brother Adam and his five nephews, Anson, Christian, Emilio, Mateo, and Ezio. Through a prior relationship, he formed a father/son and father/daughter type bond with Keyan and Kayden.
Manny formed endearing friendships during his childhood years and throughout his life that transpired into his close family. He had many friends, and all were true friendships. He had a way of lighting up a room with his presence. He was the comedian, mixologist, and DJ at any event.
Manny served seventeen years with the Pima County Sheriff's Department, eventually becoming a Corrections Sergeant. He was known to be dedicated to his job and fellow co-workers. There was no job too big for him.
Manny was firm and held people accountable for their actions but also compassionate and would take his shirt off his back for someone in need.
Manny was as honest as they come. He was a loyal friend who was not afraid to tell the truth; no matter how uncomfortable that made you feel.
Manny was raised in South Tucson and lived in Tucson his entire life. Growing up, he lived with his mother Rosalie and grandmother Concepcion. His grandmother was the one person he loved the most in this world.
Manny's passion was his love for tattoos, traveling, country music, and going to concerts with friends.
Manny was the best of us, and life without him has left this world with one less light to shine the way.
May your soul find solace in the arms of the angels as you embark on your journey to eternity, dear brother.
Though you may be gone from this world, your spirit will forever shine brightly in our memories.
