IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lynn “Cheryl”
Siedler
July 22, 1956 – August 21, 2023
Lynn "Cheryl" Siedler graced the world on July 22, 1956, and gently bid us farewell on August 21, 2023. She was born into the embrace of Edward and Helen Ziegler in McDonald Ohio, where her childhood was shared with two brothers, Kevin and Scott, and one sister Kathy. Her life's journey led her in 1976 to proudly serve with the United States Air Force, stationed at Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. Here in Tucson, she built her forever home and left her mark on the people around her.
Following her dedicated service with the USAF, Cheryl found her true calling at AMARG (more commonly known as the Boneyard at Davis Monthan) in 1987. Her unwavering commitment and love for her work became the cornerstone of her illustrious 36-year career.
Cheryl's legacy will always be remembered for her eternal love, boundless generosity, and her remarkable command of language! She was always transparent in her emotions and candid in her conversations, while keeping everyone around her laughing. Her infectious spirit was a treasure cherished by her family, friends, and co-workers alike.
Left to hold her memory are her loving daughter, Jennifer (Curt) McHenry, and her devoted son, Mark (Kristin) Faulkner. Her legacy extends to her cherished grandchildren: Cierra (21), Logan (14), Elizabeth (13), Emma (11), Avery (11), Michael (10), Lydia (8), Mark Jr (6), Tori (3), and Katie (10mo). Additionally, she leaves behind her beloved feline companions -Tigger, Gizmo, Matilda, Luna, and Ginger – whose presence in her life brought her immeasurable joy. She also leaves behind her one true love, Tony Stewart.
As we commemorate her life, let us celebrate the love, wisdom, and vibrant spirit that she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of her life will take place September 17 at the Pima Air and Space Museum 6000 E Valencia Rd, Tucson, AZ 85756, with a short service at 11:15 am followed by a Color Guard Ceremony at 11:35. This will be followed by a reception including lunch provided by the family. Please bring your favorite stories and memories to share. This is a non-formal event, though you're encouraged to wear pink, her favorite color.
