Obituary
Lupe Hughes Martinez, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at the age of 95, surrounded by the love of her four daughters and their families. Born on September 30, 1930, to Guillermo and Matiana Hughes, Lupe was a devoted wife, loving mother, and ultimate homemaker - creating a home filled with unconditional love.
Preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Jesus Romo, Lupe is survived by her daughters Jessica Piorkowski (Mark), Carina Barrera (Tony), Marlena Miller (Marcus), Lisette Rice (Warren), 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
