Luis Roberto (Robert) Ramirez, 71, a resident of Tucson, went home to the Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was born in Hermosillo, Mexico on June 21, 1952. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Maria De La Luz and Silviano Ramirez; and siblings Xochilt and Tetpalcanzin. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Diana; his three children, Angelina (Elisa), Alex, and Crystal (Daniel); one grandson, Daniel; his siblings Chuiclahuac, Quetzal & Silvia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert graduated from Tucson High School class of 1970 and worked for several years in banking (Valley National Bank, Bank One & Chase Bank) and at the Tucson Convention Center.  He was a devoted University of Arizona sports fan. Many will recall Robert for his playful demeanor, quick wit and welcoming presence. Robert was a beloved husband, father, and tata. He always left an impression with those he encountered and will truly be missed.
