IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Luis Gil,
Jr.
May 1, 1931 – July 11, 2022
Luis Gil, Jr. passed to be with our Lord and Savior on July 11 th , 2022. He was a titan of a man. He was an honorable God-fearing man, devoted husband, extraordinary grandfather, passionate patriot, and amateur comedian. He guided us through life; always there to encourage. His stories of struggle and grit have provided a beacon of hope and strength. As a mechanical engineer, he inspired a love for mathematics. He tutored us in math, chemistry, and physics. As a Marine, he sparked interest in the military. He passed on to his children and grandchildren that we could conquer ALL obstacles placed before us. He stood beside us all our lives! There is nothing he couldn't do! He was an Engineer, electrician, mechanic, carpenter, plumber, painter, welder, mason, he sewed and cooked. But, most of all he was an awesome husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, great-great-grandpa. Louie is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Yolanda, his 6 children,
Landi (Bobby), Roxy, Louie (Brenda), Richard (Lupita), Robert (Sondra), Phil (Martha), 14 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great, Great Grandchild.
Thank you, Dad, for your unwavering love and support throughout our lives. We love you mucho! #Semper Fi, #Too sweet!
