Lucy T. Santa Cruz, 83, entered into eternal rest on August 29, 2025. Lucy was born in Tucson, Arizona on September 17, 1941, she is survived by; daughters Maria Santa Cruz and Sandy (Melvin) Kinnebrew; sisters, Adela Franco, Connie Espinoza, Betty (Robert) Kraft, Tillie (Ernie) Trillo; brothers, Frank (Rosa) Tamayo; grandchildren, Sean, Matthew, Briana, and Myles; as well as many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rodolfo 'Rudy' Armando Miranda Santa Cruz: parents, Frank and Adela Tamayo; brother, Angel Tamayo.

Lucy's vivacious and fiery spirit, generosity, and thoughtfulness touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. and mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday September 19th at St. Augustine's Catholic Church.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary.
