After a long, courageous and inspirational battle with cancer, we are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved Lucille (Lucy) Valdez who passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 22nd, 2025, at the age of 90.

Lucille proudly dedicated 27 years of service to the Tucson Police Department as a civilian employee where her professionalism warmth and compassion left a lasting mark on her colleagues and the community. During this time, she was assigned to the police department's "Adam-One-Team where she became known to the department and community as Adam-One-Lucy.  This distinction reflected her dedication, respect and beloved presence among the force.

Following her retirement, she continued her commitment to service for another twenty years with the South Tucson Police Department.
Beyond her remarkable career, Lucille was a woman of kindness, strength and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her radiant smile and gentle demeanor touched everyone who knew her.

Lucille is preceded in death by her Husband Frank and son Mark and leaves her son Carlos (Marisa), four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory
