It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lorenzo “Roddy” B. Rodriguez on February 20, 2026, at the age of 71. Roddy was a beloved son, brother, father, tata, and husband. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna N. Rodriguez, his son Lorenzo Rodriguez Jr. (Renee) and daughters Lorraine R. Mansfield (Aaron), and Deanna Rodriguez.

He is also survived by his four grandsons, five great grandchildren and eight Godchildren; siblings Lucinda Puig (Eddie), Mark Rodriguez (Patricia) and Kenneth Rodriguez.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Rodriguez and parents Lupe and John Rodriguez.

Roddy was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Anna with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Together they built a loving and strong family. He loved the company of family get- togethers and annual traditions.

Born in Tucson, AZ on September 5, 1954. Roddy was known to many as a hard worker and provider, spending over 35 years in the food and hospitality industry working at places like Ye’Ole Latern, Davinci Italian Restaurant, Pima Community College & Fenster Private Boarding School (Sodexo) and Desert Diamond Casino. He was well known for his honesty, sense of humor, and stubbornness.

Though Roddy has departed his presence has not left us but merely gone ahead to wait with the Lord for the day when we will all be together again. Roddy will be truly missed but forever in our hearts.
