The world lost a beloved man on August 16th, 2022, when Lino Escalante Silva, of Tucson, Arizona passed away.

Lino was born on August 18th, to Angel and Francisca Silva in Fronteras, Sonora, Mexico. He was the youngest of nine children.

Lino was married to the love of his life, María de la Luz Silva, in 1965 and four children were born to that union. Their love is survived by their daughters, Francisca Enriquez, husband Luis Enriquez, Maria Serrano, husband Albaro Serrano, and Sylvia Tapia, husband Jesus Tapia, and his son Lino Silva Jr., wife Heather Silva. He was proud of and adored by his ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his his wife, María de la Luz, his  parents Angel and Francisca Silva, and all eight of his siblings.

He was a kind and brave man. He was very respected and a role model to all. He will be deeply missed.
