Kristi Lyn Eicher Shaw, age 40, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic accident on December 25, 2020. Kristi was born in San Angelo, TX on February 8, 1980. After graduating from Central High School, she moved to Austin where she attended Austin Community College until she moved to Tucson, AZ in 2006 to join her sister, Brandi. In Tucson, she met her soulmate and beloved husband, Dan, who she married on September 18, 2011, in Las Vegas. They lived happily together in Tucson until her death. Kristi dedicated her life to helping and serving others first through foster care at Devereux Arizona and then through hospice at Harmony Hospice. Without hesitation, Kristi was always there to help someone in need. She enjoyed spending time with her family in Tucson and visiting her parents at their ranch in Texas. Quick-witted and keenly observant, Kristi could make anyone laugh even in the worst of situations. She was a light in our lives and will be sorely missed. She will forever be fondly remembered as our "Brown Eyed Girl". Kristi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Grandma Shaw (Norma), uncle Gerald Schkade, aunt Janice Morton, and cousin Matthew Schkade. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Shaw, of Tucson, AZ, her parents, Gary and Vicki Eicher, of Brownwood, TX, her parents-in-law, David and Cindy Shaw of Tucson, AZ, her grandmother, Judy Carpenter of Tucson, AZ, her sister and brother-in-law, Brandi and Maxwell Batten of Brownwood, TX, and her sister-in-law and her husband, Jamie and Kirby Overstreet of Tucson, AZ, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and nephew…and her beloved cats, Roxy and Rambo. A celebration of Kristi's life will be held at a future date.
