Deacon Kenneth Moreland   October 24, 1946 – June 17, 2022

Born in Peoria, IL the third child of Ira and Marie Moreland.  Married Linda Schierer September 2, 1967.  Graduated from Southern Illinois University in Electrical Engineering.  Worked for 35 years for Caterpillar Inc as a lab engineer retiring in 2002.  Ordained as a Deacon for the Diocese of Tucson June 14, 2003.  Worked for Most Holy Trinity Parish. He was appointed the Vicar for Deacons of the Tucson Diocese serving for 7 years.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother, Marion Moreland.  Survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda; Son, Tom Moreland (Tracy); Daughter, Heather Talley (Patrick); and Grandchildren Justin Wood and Adeline Moreland and Sister, Joyce Bessler.

Services will be at Most Holy Trinity Parish Saturday August 13, 2022 starting at 9am.  Mass of Celebration at 10am, con-celebrated by Bishop Emeritus Gerald Kicanas and Bishop Edward Weisenburger.  Burial at Holy Hope Cemetery.
