Judy was born in Hayden, Colorado on July 2, 1943 to Frank Metler Clover, Jr. and Margaret Robina Kirkpatrick Clover. The family moved to Morenci, Arizona when Judy was a small child, and she attended Morenci schools, graduating from Morenci High School in 1961. Judy attended the University of Arizona where she met Tom Bullington, the love of her life. They were married from 1964 until his death in 2022. In 1969 they completed their family with the birth of their daughter, Sara Jane.
Judy worked as a supervisor in Medical Administration Management at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a phenomenal quilter and an avid reader. Judy had a wry sense of humor and loved a good joke. Her laugh was legendary. Judy was a staunch liberal and followed politics closely. Not much got by her in the political arena.
Judy is predeceased by her husband Tom, her beloved daughter Sara, her brother Mike, and her parents. She is survived by nephews Walter Clover (Belita); Charles Clover (Rachel); Keith Bullington (Gayle); and Sam Haney (Trang). She is also survived by sister-in-law Patricia Camp, brother-in-law John Bullington, nephews Marc and Marty Camp, John Humpreys IV, Nicholas and Michael Bullington, Fred Bullington, niece Susan Haney, and by many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude for the wonderful care Judy received at Sunrise Senior Living in Tucson. She spent her last years surrounded by competent, caring, and compassionate caregivers whom she considered dear friends. The family also wishes to thank Casa De La Luz for the excellent hospice care they provided to Judy. Angels truly walk among us.
In accordance with Judy's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. There will however be a Celebration of Judy's Life at a later date.
