Juan Ramon Marquez , 79, of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15th. Preceded in death by his parents Francisco Marquez and Abraham Sainz de Marquez and his beloved wife,  Nancy, and his sister Francisca
"Panchi."

Survived by his children, Lupita (Mike) Martinez, Isela Marquez, and Ramon "Gabe" (Rocio) Marquez,  10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and his remaining  brothers (Jesus Manuel, Joel, Antonio) and sisters (Laura, Manuela).

Ramon worked as a Senior Mine Tech for Freeport McMoRan until retiring in 2009. He enjoyed working on side projects which included welding, taking care of his yard and his dog "Boy."  When he wasn't busy with a project, he liked to spend time with his friends at Tiny's Saloon and St. Charles Tavern.
