Josie Calderon Rosas, 86, of Tucson, passed away May 13, 2023. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Oscar; parents Joaquin and Fidelia Calderon; sisters, Mary and Teresa; brothers, Juan, Jake, and Joe; daughter Rosemary Rosas. Survived by daughters Patsy (Martin) Bernal, Sylvia Vasquez, Annamarie Rosas; sons Raymond (Karen) Rosas, Robert Rosas, Zachary Harper; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews and special dog Cha-Chi. Josie enjoyed telenovelas, was an avid reader, music lover, CNN follower and Tucson High Badger. She spent her early years volunteering as a teacher's aide at the old Liberty Elementary and later retired from her work at the Hotel Congress after many years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Legion Benediction Convent. She will be remembered for her devoted faith, kindness, and unwavering love. She created a home always filled with the scent of delicious food, wonderful memories, and traditions that family and friends will cherish forever.  Her tenacious spirit and strength will live on in all of us. While nothing could ever ease the pain of our loss, we find comfort in knowing that you will continue to watch over us all from heaven. Que Dios Te Bendiga, We love you.
