Josie Montante is survived by her daughter Janette (Ramón), her son Angel, her 3 granddaughters, Nayeleé (Steven), Jocelyn (Daniel) and Angelina. And her 4 great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Persephone, Andrez and Jaziel.

To her family she was known as our Nani, who loved unconditionally and had an admiration for animals especially her pets who she loved dearly and the small things in life.

Anyone that had the privilege of spending time with her knew she was a resilient woman who was never afraid to speak her mind. She was known for offering direct, honest advice even when it wasn't requested, but always when it was needed most.

She was a devoted catholic and prayed her rosary daily.

She will be remembered always through the memories, the recipes that we will carry on and the laughter that we will cherish forever.
