IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joseph A.
Nash
December 20, 1946 – May 25, 2025
Joe Nash, 78, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones and has gone to be with God and our Blessed Mother and Angels in Heaven. He is now reunited in eternal rest with his beloved wife, Nellie Carpenter Nash, who preceded him in death in 2020.
Joe is survived by his children: Joseph, Denise, and Jason; his cherished grandchildren: Juliana, Jaida, and Joslyn; his great-grandchild, Delainey; and his sister Diane and extended family who loved him dearly.
Joe was a man of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and an unshakable sense of loyalty. He was the steady rock behind the warmth and love in the home he and Nellie built together. A loving father and proud "Grandpa and Papa" who adored his grandchildren and great-grandchild. His face lit up most when they were around.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and just being outside tinkering with anything and everything. He had a passion for collecting lots of tools and took great pride in using them to help others with their projects. Joe loved making breakfast for his family—it was one of the many ways he quietly showed his love. He also had a deep appreciation for trains, vehicles, knives, and guns, and enjoyed sharing those interests with anyone who would listen.
Joe had the biggest heart. He was a humble, loving man who never asked for much but gave so much of himself to others. Whether it was fixing something, lending a hand, or just showing up when needed, Joe was always there.
A wonderful brother, brother-in-law, a proud dad and grandpa, and a faithful partner to Nellie—Joe Nash left behind a legacy of hard work, humility, and heart.
Thank you, Dad, Grandpa, and Papa, for your strength, your guidance, and your unwavering love. Your legacy lives on in each of us. We take comfort in knowing that you are once again with Mom as our Angels watching over us together.
Services for Joe Nash will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 visitation from 8:00-9:30AM with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 8:45AM at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave. Followed by Funeral Mass at St. Augustine's Cathedral at 10:00AM, 192 S. Stone Ave. Followed by burial at Holy Hope Cemetery 3555 N. Oracle, where he will be laid to rest beside Nellie. Please join us for a Celebration of Life Luncheon at 12:30 at Kaycee Events 601 S Tucson Blvd (Old Knights of Columbus).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Joe's memory by sharing a kind deed, a quiet moment of prayer, or a loving act of service in his name.
