It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Jose Luis (Pepe) Gonzalez Berrellez 68, on February 8, 2026.

He is survived by his brothers, Hector, Arturo (Gloria), Raul (Rachel), Guillermo (Yolanda) and Daniel Berrellez. Also survived by many nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father, Hector Irineo Berrellez and mother, Consuelo Gonzalez Berrellez.

Jose lived life to the fullest and was loved by all who knew him. He was known for a generous heart, always happy to offer a helping hand when needed. He was born and raised in Tucson, graduated from Tucson High School. During the past 15 years Jose relocated to Riverside, California where he managed the family feed store, "Mi Ranchito" with his brother, Hector. Jose was an avid animal lover taking care of the horses, goats and chickens. He also was in the business of breeding dogs of which he was very fond of.

During the past 5 years, Jose owned and operated a pool cleaning company, servicing the Riverside community. He was proud of his work, always taking an extra step to take good care of his clients.

Jose will be deeply missed by everyone that was blessed with his presence. He will truly be welcomed in Heaven. Adios Hermano, te queremos y te llevaremos en nuestro corazon siempre.
