Jose Jesus "Suni" Ortiz was a 95-year-old loving husband, brother, uncle, and tata, who went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2023 . Suni was born on March 13, 1928 in Saric , Sonora . He is survived by his sister Maria Luisa Camacho, and many extended family members . He is preceded in death by his wife Socorro Orozco Ortiz and sister Genoveva "Eva" Orozco (Francisco Orozco).

Although he never had any children of his own, he was blessed to be known as "Dad and Tata" by many nieces and nephews who loved him like a father and grandfather . He always had an open heart with loving arms . He was generous and extended help to anyone in need . Our lives were truly enriched with his love and his caring ways, which will be with us until we meet again.

Services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at St. Margaret Mary Church , 801 N . Grande Avenue . Rosary recited at 10:30 am . Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemet e ry . Arrangements by Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary.
