IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jose D
Mendoza
March 5, 1935 – February 28, 2024
Jose D. Mendoza, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, cousin and friend went to be with our Lord on February 28, 2024. Born March 5, 1935 in Tucson, Arizona. His parents raised him and his two sisters in Tucson (Old Pascua) and Oracle Jaynes Station.
Preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Emilia (Alvarez) Mendoza, and his beloved wife of 58 years, Juanita Z. Mendoza whom he missed dearly. Survived by daughters Cecilia Mendoza, Yolanda (Miguel) Cuesta, and Martha (Tom) Kozemchak; grandchildren: Linda Inclan, Danny Inclan, AJ Inclan, Chevy (Sabrina) Kozemchak, Wyatt Kozemchak and JohnHenry Kozemchak; great granddaughters: Yvette Gutierrez, Francesca Kozemchak and Jacqueline Kozemchak; siblings: Mary Mendoza and Rosalie Flores. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A kind man who was full of laughter and had a contagious smile. He used every opportunity as a teaching moment with both his daughters and his grandchildren. We learned so much from his stories and experiences but mostly from the example he set every day on how to truly love and raise a family. He cherished his grandchildren deeply and took great pride in being their "Tats".
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was greatly loved. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
