Jose "Joe" Gamez age 65, passed away June 19, 2019, born and raised in Tucson, Arizona.

He preceded in death by his mother, Eva B. Gamez; father, Jose Gamez.

Joe is survived by his wife, Patricia "Thicha" Gamez of 43 years, and his children, Jose Jr, Tina (Angel) Castellano, and Marcelina. Also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Angel "Champ", George "Sport", Isaac "Ace", Lexia "Pumpkin" and Isabella "Cupcake".

Dad was a hardworking man who worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a dedicated gym member who went every morning. He had the love and passion for ball. Dad played baseball as a kid and continued to play softball as an adult. He was a proud Tata that loved to watch and coach his grandkids play ball. He loved to be outside working on his yard, listening to music. He was a diehard U of A fan, who also loved to Bake.

He enjoyed his Friday nights with his daughter, Tina and son-in-law, Angel at Little Mexico. He loved to dance to Tejano music and was a huge fan of George Strait.

Even though you never had the chance to say goodbye to yesterday, this is where the cowboy's ride's away.

You will be forever missed!
