Jose Galvez Jr. (Tony, "Tonito")

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Galvez Jr., lovingly known as Tony or "Tonito", who was born on November 8, 1958, in Tucson, Arizona, and passed away surrounded by loved ones.

Tony was the beloved son of Gloria Galvez and Antonio Galvez, and father of Jose Galvez III (Anthony). He was a cherished brother to Ricardo Galvez and Teresa Carrillo, and an uncle to Vincent Rosas, Selina Grabill, Angelica Carrillo, Joshua Galvez, Carlos, Adrian, and little Jamie.

He leaves behind a beautiful legacy through his grandchildren Alexis Galvez, Anthony Galvez, and a precious baby Galvez on the way, as well as his great-grandchild Zakai, who will continue to carry his love forward.

Tony was known for his strength, warmth, and the love he showed his family. His presence lit up every room, and his memory will live forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

Funeral services will be held on Monday , September 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Marana Veterans Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate his life.

Though he is gone from our sight, Tony's spirit remains with us always — in the laughter, stories, and love shared by his family.
