John O. Pacheco was born on August 30, 1932, in Ruby, AZ. He went to our Heavenly Father on December 10, 2024. He was 92 years old.
John is proceeded in death by his wife Mary P Pacheco, his son Frank P Pacheco, along with his sister Tillie Urias, parents Jose and Maria Cañez. John is survived by his children Jimmy P Pacheco, Jenny (Ernie) Santamaria and Diana P Murray. His loving grandchildren Santiago, Angel, Estevan, Jake, Rogelio, Carlos, Rosanna, Nicole, Kayla, Ernie Jr. Sophia, and Katherine, also along with 23 great grandchildren and extended family as well.
John with his family moved to Arivaca, AZ. He started working on the ranches surrounding Arivaca, starting at the age of 12 to help support his family from herding cattle, branding, maintaining the ranch in different capacities, he truly loved this part of his life. John was drafted into the Army at the age of 23, serving his country during the Korean War. John was a Sargent, honorably discharged from the military. He went on to move to Tucson AZ. where he got married and started a family. John worked in the lumber industry then moved on working as an inside sales associate for Mining and Construction Companies in the Tucson area until he retired. He always put his family first and surrounding himself around his grandchildren was one of his biggest joys. He always had a story to tell us all from his days working on the ranch to his time in the Army. Even though we heard them all, it was special to have that time with him. Dad, you are gone too soon. You will be forever missed ... we will love you always. Thank you for being there for us.
