With a heavy heart Cindy Garcia announces the passing of her beloved son, Joe Anthony Miranda. Joey passed away April 21, 2023, Joey was 31 years young.

Joey was a devoted and loving son and grandson, preceding Joey in death was his beloved Grandparents, Tata, Mike Garcia, Nana, Leticia Garcia and his twin brother Eric Miranda. Joey is survived by his Mother Cindy Garcia, his 2 uncles Michael Garcia Jr. (wife Pricilla), and Steven Garcia (wife Erica), 5 cousins and many other family members and friends.

Joey was skilled in several trades, he began his working career as an apprentice tile setter under the leadership and guidance of his beloved Tata, Mike Garcia. Joey worked for MG Tile when he was a young teen, prior to graduating from Desert View High School.

Joey then went on to learn the trades of roofing, bricklaying and finally an apprentice auto mechanic. Joey succeeded in whatever trade he chose to work in. Many people benefited from his hard work and dedication.

Joey's smile would light up his face. His kind presence would bring happiness to everyone who he came in contact with. Joey's sweet, gentle and kind personality was a gift to everyone and will be greatly missed.

On Thursday, May 4, 2023, visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. and a recitation of the rosary will be at 9:30 a.m., both will be at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary. The funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church. Immediately following the Mass there will be a celebration of life lunch for family and friends at Cafe Santa Rosa, 2615 S. 6th Avenue, Tucson AZ 85713.

Joey may you Rest In Peace in the presence of our Lord. Joey will be missed by many. Joey we all love you.
