IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jesus A
Leon
February 10, 1965 – June 15, 2023
Jesus A. Leon
It is with great heartache that we announce the sudden passing of Jesus "Beto" Leon. He was born February 10, 1965 and entered into the arms of our Heavenly Father on June 15, 2023.
Known as Beto or Al to many, he worked 20 plus years for the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department. Proudly responsible for preparing and maintaining the baseball fields at many of the parks around town. He was a proud member of the "Los Dorados" group who were responsible for the procession of the cross up "A Mountain" during Easter. He was the person who always lent a helping hand to anyone and everyone at any given time with no expectation of something in return. Not a man of many words, but a man of Faithfulness, Dependability, Empathy, Kindness, and so on.
Preceded in death by his parents Jesus "Tafu" and Alice "Licha" Leon, sisters Christina "Kina" Leyva and Patsy Leon-Sewell, and grandsons baby Angel, Bobby Jr, and baby Leon.
He is survived by his Loving wife of 34 years Maryann Leon. Children Isabel Leon (Julio), Yvette Leon (Angel), Jesus Leon, Daisha Jones, and Antonio Pina. Grandchildren Richard, Rene, Karina SantaCruz, and Kaiyr Rashar Vines. Sisters Pauline (Bruno) Ruiz and Anna Marie Leon, brother from another mother Ruben Urbina, and many nieces and nephews.
Beto you were a loving husband, amazing father, brother, brother in law, tio, and an awesome Nino. But most of all you were the ABSOLUTE BEST TATA!!! This is the legacy you leave behind! You will be immensely missed by us all, but never forgotten!
