In Loving Memory of Jerry Murillo Jr.

Above all else, Jerry loved his family.

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Murillo Jr., who left this world on July 2, 2026, at the age of 46.

Jerry was born to Jerry Murillo Sr. and Luz Murillo. He spent much of his life in Tucson, Arizona, where he became known for his infectious smile, quick wit, and remarkable ability to make everyone around him laugh. His warmth could brighten any room, and those fortunate enough to know him will forever remember his kindness, generosity, and genuine heart.

Above all else, Jerry loved his family. He was a devoted and proud father to Breanna, John, Emma, and Beau, who were the greatest joys of his life. He cherished every opportunity to share stories about them and took immense pride in watching them grow.

Jerry also shared a deeply loving relationship with his fiancée, Sergeant Mallory Grant, USAF (Retired). During the last four years, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, unwavering support, and friendship. Together, they created countless cherished memories and found strength in one another through life's joys and challenges.

He cherished every opportunity to share stories about them and took immense pride in watching them grow.

He is lovingly survived by his parents, Jerry Murillo Sr. and Luz Murillo; his sisters, Lisa Murillo and Julia Nelson; his beloved children; his fiancée, Mallory Grant; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by knowing him.

Jerry's journey was not without challenges, but he faced them with resilience, courage, and an enduring capacity to love. His life reminds us that a person's legacy is not measured by perfection but by the kindness they shared, the love they gave, and the lives they touched along the way.

Jerry will forever be remembered for his contagious laughter, generous spirit, unwavering love for his family, and the way he made others feel welcome and valued. Although his time with us was far too short, his memory will continue to live on in every story shared, every smile inspired by thoughts of him, and every heart he touched.
