James Sanchez passed away tragically on June 23, 2022 at the tender age of 16. James was born in Tucson, Arizona on August 29, 2005 to Melissa Gomez and Daniel Sanchez.

James was well known by all of his family, friends, and teachers as loving, caring, funny, outgoing, and the life of the party. He loved to bring joy to others and regularly made them smile. His contagious laugh filled any room, and you couldn't help but laugh yourself. You instantly felt better with just the sound of his laugh. James had this iconic smile; it was big and beautiful. His smile radiated pure sunshine and we will never forget it.

James thoroughly enjoyed playing baseball and participated in San Xavier and Western little league and even club ball. He was a star pitcher and third baseman. His favorite team was the New York Yankees. James also had a passion for basketball. James was naturally athletic and truly loved all sports.

James is a true hero. His organs were donated to help save the lives of five people. James will be forever missed and loved. We will never stop honoring his memory with acts of kindness and compassion.

James is preceded in death by his grandfather, Pete Sanchez, and his Nino, Marcos Sanchez.

James is survived by his beloved parents, Melissa Gomez and Daniel Sanchez; loving siblings, Daniel, Audrina, Drayden, Devyn, and Demitry; grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
