Joy Anthony Jacobs, known affectionately as Jake, was born on April 18, 1950, and passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024. He joins his Mother Esperanza (Hope), Father Robert, and Sister Alexis in heaven.
Jake proudly served in the U.S. Navy, enlisting in 1969 and discharged in 1975 after 3 tours of duty. He was decorated with multiple service metals and completed his assignment on the USS Paul Revere.
After the military, Jake devoted himself to his professions of Silversmithing and Logistics. Later in life he devoted himself to caregiving, selflessly tending to his sister Alexis. He always enjoyed spending his time with his Combat Veteran Brothers and dedicated much of his time fundraising for the annual golf tournament.
Jake deeply cherished his family and the time he spent with them. Jake was a beloved Son, Father, Brother, and Grandfather.
He is survived by his family Korey Fleck; Shannon; Katie; Tyler-Timothy Wheeler; Rosa; Manny; Alex; Tim; and Jacob; as well as many of his loving cousins and friends.
Jakes's life was marked by service, care, selflessness, and love. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication and warmth. He touched so many lives with his love and support.
Jake you were loved beyond words, and we were blessed to have you as long as we did.
