In Loving Memory of Irma B Lozano

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother Irma B Lozano, on July 28,

2026 at the age of 83.

She was the heart of our family—a loving, kind, and selfless woman whose greatest joy was caring for those she loved. As a devoted mother, she gave her children unwavering love, guidance, and strength. As a grandmother, and great grandmother, she filled every gathering with warmth, laughter, gentle wisdom, and unconditional love. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her generous spirit, her beautiful smile, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved. The lessons she taught, the memories she created, and the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever.

She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and who will forever cherish her memory. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to live on through each of us.

One of her greatest joys in life was caring for those she loved. She expressed that love through her cooking, filling her home with delicious meals, treasured family recipes, and the warmth that brought everyone together around her table. Her recipe cards, lovingly marked with handwritten notes, will remain cherished reminders of the care she put into every meal she prepared. Her deep and enduring love for our father was one of the defining joys of her life, and together they shared a bond built on devotion, partnership, and unwavering affection.

She was also incredibly proud of becoming a teacher, fulfilling her dream of educating and inspiring young minds. She had a special gift for working with children, and her kindness, patience, and encouragement left a lasting impression on the many lives she touched.

In her later years, she continued to face life’s challenges with quiet strength and grace. She will always be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering love for her family, and the countless lives she enriched. She is now reunited with our father and together they are at peace, forever held in the love they shared.

She is proceeded in death by Pedro R Lozano (husband), Irma L Jones (daughter), Pedro Lozano III (grandson), and is survived by her children, daughter, Rosalinda Lozano Rodriguez (Ismael), Grandchildren Angelica Lozano Galvan (Christopher), David I Rodriguez, Christopher A Rodriguez, Rolando D Rodriguez, and Alexis N Rodriguez Diaz (Pedro), great grandchildren Anthony Lozano Galvan (Destanie), Jadyn Lozano Galvan, Michelle Rose Rodriguez, Charlotte A Rodriguez Hunter, and Lola Ponce and great, great grandson Ozias Lozano Galvan. Her son Pedro R Lozano Jr (Anna), Grandchildren, Karina Herrera (Alex), Jessica M Meadows, Vanessa Lynn, Veronica Lozano, great grandchildren, Nevaeh Herrera, Lizette Tourville, Alexis Herrera, Alex Herrera Jr, Mia Lozano, Mackenzie Lynn, Adriana Lynn and Ryan Lynn. Her son Gabriel A Lozano (Isabel), grandchildren Marcos Lopez Lozano, Gabriel Lopez Lozano (Fernanda), and Ana Y Lozano (Micheal). Great grandchild Yazmain Sofia Lozano, and son in law Mark Jones.

She is also survived by her brothers Hector Benavides (Genie), Benny Benavides (Alice) and Gerardo Benavides (Tania).

A service will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 11:00 am – 2:30 pm, Rosary at 1:30 pm at Carrillo’s Tucson Mortuary 204 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701. Monday, August 24, 2026. Mass: 11:00 am Santa Cruz Church 1220 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate her beautiful life and the lasting legacy of love she leaves behind.
