Ignacio "Nacho" Rivera Sanchez, age 85, of Tucson Arizona peacefully passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Survived by his wife of 58 years Maria Elena; son Francisco Xavier (Juanita); two grandchildren, Stephen and Christopher; and sister-in-law Rachel Leyvas all from Tucson Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ignacio and Nellie, and sister Dolores.

Nacho was born and raised in Tucson Arizona and graduated from Tucson high school.

He started his career in the Army reserve (13 years), and then transferred to the Navy reserve where he retired 17 years later in 1998. During this time, he also worked for the City of Tucson where he retired after 30 years.
