Henry, also known as Bumper or Boyce, was born on April 7, 1940, in Ruby, Arizona to Henry Sr. and Leticia Fuentes. He peacefully returned to the Lord on February 19, 2024, surrounded by his family. Henry was preceded in death by both parents, his sister Belen Camacho and brother Hector Fuentes. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Mary Lillian. Henry is also survived by his children Leticia "Chicha" (Mike) Ford, Henry III "Kiki" (Denice) Fuentes, Frank (Yolanda) Fuentes, and Amanda (Richard) Sanchez. Grandchildren include Ashley, Stephanie, Dior, Niesa, Macie, Lulu, Angela, Cassandra, Frank Jr, and Anthony. He also leaves great grandsons Anthony and Gregory.

He graduated from Tucson High School and was a proud Badger. He was a huge fan of the U of A Wildcats and the Raiders. Henry retired from the City of Tucson Sanitation Department. After retirement, he worked numerous years as a monitor for several local high schools and junior high schools including Tucson High, Cholla, Pueblo, and Naylor.

He dedicated his life to his family and his passion for playing and coaching softball. Along with his sister, Belen, he helped coach the ASA Tucson Royals softball team and continued the legacy of coaching the Royals after her passing. He was instrumental in starting the Tucson El Rio Bobby Sox League. He also coached several girls' softball teams at the high school level. He played for many years on several men's softball teams including Bambi's, Vida Fastpitch, and in the Over 50 and Over 60 slow pitch leagues. In the past, Henry was very active with the Tucson High Booster Club. His lifetime dedication to coaching and mentoring has influenced the lives of hundreds of young ladies in Tucson. Along with his passion for his family, he also loved the many pets he had throughout his life and winning at the casino.

Henry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
