IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Graciela Salgado
Trujillo
June 5, 1964 – August 21, 2024
Our beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Lita, Nina, Niece, Cousin, Tia and Friend was called home to our Lord while surrounded by her daughters on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
Grace is preceded in death by her devoted Father, Jose P. Trujillo.
Survived by her loving Mother, Graciela S. Soto and bonus Father, Antonio Soto; Sister, Eileen Soto; Brother, Jose S. Trujillo; Daughters, Maria A. Tindall (Robert L. Tindall), Graciela I. Chacon (Raul Carrillo), Sarah R. Rosas-McKenna (Alicia C. Ramirez), Rosa C. Rosas (Daniel A. Chavez); Her most precious and beloved grandchildren, Damon and Myles Tindall, Damien, Dominick, Dyllen, and Devin Carrillo, Tank, Titan and Achilles Ramirez, Andrea and Daniel Jr. Chavez, Rodolfo V. Olivas IV; and many loving cousins, Godchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Though Grace was born and raised in Tucson, she loved being by the ocean, mainly in San Diego and Hawaii, she loved cooking, being around her family and friends. She had a contagious smile and laugh, always thinking of others she would call to check in on you or just to invite you over to have her famous tacos, which is how she became known as "Mama Grace". Above all else, her love for God, her daughters and grandchildren.
Grace was a true nurturer, an ear to listen, a hug when needed, she opened her door to all, she believed in second chances, an avid lover of Rottweilers, favorite colors were Teal and Peach, a passion for holiday decorating and celebrating, a big love of roses and especially a wonderful, caring, and supportive Mother and grandmother.
Throughout Grace's trial and tribulations she showed her daughters how to be self-sufficient, survivors and overcomers of the situations life handed them, teaching them to be the women and mothers they are today.
Grace is the epitome of survivor, not just because what she endured and overcame as a single mother of four girls, but because when the Doctors had given up all hope, God prevailed answering all of our prayers blessing us with two more years of her life, showing us a true miracle. Grace is deeply loved and greatly missed.
