Our Matriarch passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, who will continue to honor her legacy living life to the fullest. We all know in our hearts that she was greeted by the love of her life, Oscar Sr. and many other family members who have gone before her.

She was born in Nogales, Arizona and grew up in Barrio Historico of Tucson, Arizona.  She had a profound love of music and cultural ambience witnessed by the way she entertained. Her sense of humor was quick witted, experienced by many generations. She loved to laugh, even at her own expense and experiences.   Her perseverance allowed her to face adversity and rise above it.  Her faith inspired her to exude true unconditional love, being selfless in order to protect and nurture her family and building the foundation she dreamed of.

Survived by her brother Arnulfo (Pauline) and her children, Oscar Jr., Hector (Cindy), Rick (Christine), Cynthia, Leo (Mona), Elma, and Elvis.  Grandchildren, Oscar III, Jessica,  Nick, Gabe, Jesus,  Kyle, Jarred, Ben, Jesse, Justine,  Shelby, Jose Angel "Cheyito", Annette, Wyatt, Noah, Ariana, Luisito, Great-grandchildren, Jasmine, MiReina, Delicia, Angelina, Ramsey, Kyanna, Joseph, Alaya, Jessenia, Maria, A.J., Rey, Nickie., Samantha, Eve, Evan, Abigail, Shane, Carter, Camila, Lilyanna, Mariela, Elijah, Ariel, Brynlee, Marlee and one great-great-grandson Xavier and many nephews and nieces.
