Our loving father, Gilbert Rivera, passed away at 98 in Tucson AZ, July 17, 2025. Born on February 4th, 1927 in Marinette, AZ.

At 16, Gilbert was drafted into the Army from 1943 to 1945. He retired from Davis Monthan Air Force Base after 20 years, in 1987.

Our father,  was the kind of man any child would dream of having. With his kind heart yet stern personality, children were drawn to him. Anyone who was loved by him, knew what it meant to be loved, and we were extremely fortunate to him in our lives.

Dads greatest hobbies were working on TVs and repairing our vehicles.

He is survived by his two sisters, Gloria and Lucy; niece, Irene; two sons, Robert and Richard; two daughters, MaryLisa and Angie Tineo.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Alicia; son, Gilbert; mother, Micaela, and father, Lucio Rivera. He also leaves behind, eight grandkids, thirteen great grandkids, and six great great grandkids.

He will forever be in our hearts and our previous memories.
