Geraldine
Altamirano
July 4, 1960 – August 6, 2016
Geraldine Altamirano, 56 was born on July 4th 1960 and died on August 6th 2016, from complications from a sepsis infection. On that morning, she greeted both her parents, mother-in-law, father-in-law and best friend who have been waiting for her in heaven with their open arms. She was a wife, a mom, daughter, sister, aunt, and best friend.
She is survived by her husband Edward V. Altamirano,
Children, Teresa and Eddie Altamirano,
granddaughter, Selena,
brother, Frank J. Reyes, sister-in-law Beatrice,
sister, Patricia Reyes, brother-in-law Karl Kline
and many, many more brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, and nieces and nephews who loved her.
She was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona to parents Carlos and Carlota Reyes. She graduated from Pueblo High School and went to beautician school. She got married in 1980 to Edward. She worked very hard to give her children a good life. She had worked at Precision Shooting Equipment for fifteen years. Throughout her life she loved to crochet, cook, go out dancing with good friends, and in the last months of her life, we had discovered she had a passion for writing. She enjoyed taking care of her only grandchild and enjoyed spending time with her all of her family. She loved Christmas songs and loved to watch Christmas movies all year long to remind her of her favorite holiday. She was a strong, compassionate, giving person who put the needs of others before her own and always looked out for those she loved. She was a pure and genuine soul who loved with her whole heart. Anyone who knew her will be a better person because of her. We will love her forever.
