A devoted husband, father, brother, tata, and great tata.
George Phillip Martinez, a beloved husband and father who passed away in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona. George's passing was very sudden for his family and friends, but his memory will live on through his wife and children. George retired from the City of Tucson.
George, an outgoing man with excellent sportsmanship who in his younger years played baseball and also loved competing with the bowling leagues in Tucson.
George is survived by his wife, Maria "Tonette" Martinez; daughters, Michelle Martinez (Hector), Nicole Higuera (Esteban), Melissa Cota (Michael); sons, Sal Cota (Gina), Ernie Cota (Shayna); sisters, Gracie Corbett (Robert, Sr.); nephew, Robert Corbett, Jr.; niece, Danielle Glaze (Robert).
George's legacy will live on by his 15 grandkids and 6 great-grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Martinez, Sr.: mom, Helen V. Martinez and his brother, Lalo Holguin.
